$90 Budget Meal Plan and Grocery List: Week of Feb. 20th

Work has been a little hectic and I am trying to save money and put a little extra towards my student loans. My goal is to start meal planning so I can shop only once a week. When I go back to the store several times a week, I’m definitely spending more. Also if there is a plan for what’s getting cooked each night there is less temptation to go out to eat. This weeks meal plan has a few Subway lunches thrown in. On Monday I have a zoning hearing which could go as late as midnight, so I won’t be able to cook. I’m bringing leftovers and splitting them for lunch and dinner. Some of the items on the list are things we already have in the fridge or freezer that I need to get ride of.

Meal Plan

  • Sunday: Waffles, Syrup Coffee, Creamer, Salad, Jambalaya, Frozen Crab cakes
  • Monday: Cereal, Coffee, Creamer, Yogurt, Jambalaya leftovers
  • Tuesday: Oatmeal, Coffee, Creamer, Yogurt, Subway Lunch, Baked Potatoes, Broccoli, Cheese
  • Wednesday: Cereal, Coffee Creamer, Subway Lunch, Stir Fry
  • Thursday: Oatmeal, Leftover Stir Fry, Frozen Ravioli and Roasted Vegetables
  • Friday: Cereal, Leftover Ravioli, Macaroni and Cheese, Frozen Spinach, Frozen Crab Cakes.
  • Saturday: Waffles, Syrup, Salad, Frozen Pizza
  • Snacks: Popcorn, Fruit cups, Cheese Sticks, Granola bars
